Information on confirming your course choice

I didn’t receive my first choice through the CAO and this is the one I listed on my SUSI application form. Do I need to inform SUSI of my change in course?

If you opted in on your CAO application to allow the CAO to share information with SUSI then you do not need to do anything. We will receive these details directly from the CAO.

If you have already been awarded a student grant for your first choice of course you will receive an updated grant award letter when we receive details of your accepted course through the CAO.

If you didn’t opt in to allow the CAO to share information with us however, you will need to submit an online Final Course Acceptance form through your online SUSI Account.

I was awarded a grant to study at undergraduate level but didn’t receive an offer through the CAO and I will be attending a PLC course. Do I need to inform SUSI of this?

Yes. If you have not received an offer through the CAO and will be attending a PLC course you will need to inform us by submitting an online Final Course Acceptance form. This can be done through your SUSI online account.

I have not applied for my course through the CAO, what do I need to do?

If you have accepted a course and you stated this on your application form when making your application to SUSI, if you are eligible then you will be awarded your student grant for this course. However, if the course you stated in your SUSI application changes, you should submit an online Final Course Acceptance form through your online SUSI account.

If you did not state that you had accepted a course on your original application and were requested to submit an online Final Course Acceptance form, you should do so as soon as possible.
