If you received a student grant from SUSI in the 2020/21 academic year but you did not receive either a STUDENT GRANT (RENEWAL) NOTICE or a STUDENT GRANT (NEW APPLICATION) NOTICE by e-mail from SUSI in March 2021, this may be due to either or both of the following:
I was awarded a 2020/21 student grant after February 2021
You will need to contact SUSI at email@example.com after 31st March 2021 to arrange your grant application. Once you receive confirmation from SUSI that you may make a grant application, you can then follow the instructions on How to Make a Grant Application.
I believe that I may be eligible to receive further student grant funding in 2021/22 at my current level of studies
Please check Maximum Periods of Grant Funding to confirm that you are eligible to receive further funding at your current level of study.
You may then make a new grant application once SUSI opens for applications on 22nd April 2021 by following the instructions on How to Make a Grant Application. You should apply before the priority closing date for new grant applications on 8th July 2021.
If you will be continuing and progressing on the same course in the 2021/22 academic year, and provided you are not repeating a year or entering an add-on year, you will need to contact SUSI after 31st March 2021 to arrange a grant renewal application.
Once you have received confirmation from SUSI that you may make a grant renewal application, you can apply by following the instructions on How to Make a Grant Application. You should apply before the priority closing date for grant renewal applications on 10th June 2021.
