I did not receive an e-mail from SUSI about renewing my Student Grant for 2019-20

If you received a student grant from SUSI in the 2018-19 academic year but you did not receive either a STUDENT GRANT (RENEWAL) NOTICE or a STUDENT GRANT (NEW APPLICATION) NOTICE by e-mail from SUSI in April 2019, this may be due to either or both of the following-

  • you were awarded a student grant for the 2018-19 academic year after March 2019, or
  • our records indicate that you have either completed the final year of your current course and/or that you may have exhausted the student grant funding available to you at your current level of studies.

I was awarded a 2018-19 student grant after March 2019

You will need to contact SUSI at support@susi.ie after the SUSI online application system opens on the 25 April 2019 so that we can arrange for you to make the appropriate type of grant application. Once you have received confirmation from SUSI that you may make a grant application, you will then be able to make your application by following the instructions on How to Make a Grant Application.

I believe that I may be eligible to receive further student grant funding in 2019-20 at my current level of studies

You should refer to the Maximum Periods of Grant Funding to confirm that you  are eligible to receive further funding at your current level of studies at PLC, undergraduate and postgraduate levels (including where studying outside the State).

You may then make a new grant application after the SUSI online application system opens on the 25 April 2019. You can make your new grant application  by following the instructions on How to Make a Grant Application.
