Accepting your Course Offer
- If you ticked the SUSI box on your CAO application, the CAO will notify SUSI of the course that you have accepted. If this course is different to the one that you told SUSI about in your application, you do not need to do anything as the CAO will notify SUSI of this change. We will review and update to the correct college/course and issue you with a new award letter.
- If you have been awarded by SUSI to a course in Higher Education but will now be attending a course in Further Education (PLC Level 5 or 6), you need to complete an online Course Change Notification form through the homepage of your SUSI account with your new course details.
- If you have been awarded by SUSI to a course in Further Education but will now be attending a course in Higher Education through the CAO, you do not need to do anything as the CAO will notify SUSI of this change, as long as you ticked the SUSI option on your CAO application.
- If you subsequently accept a place on a different course, or on a course not offered to you through the CAO, you can submit Course Change Notification form (formerly called Final Course Acceptance form) at any time through your online SUSI account.
Tips for accepting your course offer
Your application will be decided on the basis of the most recent course details provided to SUSI by any of the above methods. Please note that grants can only be awarded in respect of approved courses.
