Accepting your Course Offer

  • If you ticked the SUSI box on your CAO application, the CAO will notify SUSI of the course that you have accepted. If this course is different to the one that you told SUSI about in your application, you do not need to do anything as the CAO will notify SUSI of this change. We will review and update to the correct college/course and issue you with a new award letter.
  • If you have been awarded by SUSI to a course in Higher Education┬ábut will now be attending a course in Further Education (PLC Level 5 or 6) you need to access your online SUSI account and complete an FCA (Final Course Acceptance) form with your new course details.
  • If you have been awarded by SUSI to a course in Further Education┬ábut will now be attending a course in Higher Education through the CAO, you do not need to do anything as the CAO will notify SUSI of this change, as long as you ticked the SUSI option on your CAO application.
  • If you subsequently accept a place on a different course, or on a course not offered to you through the CAO, you can submit a new online FCA form at any time through your online SUSI account.

Your application will be decided on the basis of the most recent course details provided to SUSI by any of the above methods. Please note that grants can only be awarded in respect of approved courses.
